Les compagnies qui ont marquées l'histoire du jeu vidéo : Crystal Dynamics
Crystal Dynamics est une société américaine fondée en 1992, fortement impliquée dans ses débuts dans les jeux 3do.
Les fondateurs de la boîte sont Judy Lang, Madaline Canepa (anciennes employées de Sega) et Dave Morse (du monde de l'Amiga). Le siège se situe dans la baie de San Francisco, et est encore active aujourd'hui.
Ses derniers développements concernent des versions alternatives de Tomb Raider essentiellement. La société a en effet demandé en 2009 à 55 de ses employés de s'occuper uniquement des
projets Tomb Raider.
La société a édité de nombreux jeux au cours de son existence, en majorité des jeux dont elle avait effectuée les développements, mais pas toujours. Elle fut la première boîte à développer des jeux 3do
à titre officiel, et a souffert à l'époque du flop commercial de la console.
